Job Description
We are hiring a fulltimeClinical Lab Technologistfor one of our premier clients. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about laboratory work and pathology.
The selected applicant will receive a $5000 signon bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process pathological slides for diagnostic purposes
- Run tissue processors to produce paraffin blocks
- Embed pathology specimens and cut on a rotary microtome
- Perform routine and special staining techniques
- Ensure highquality control standards and accurate distribution of cases
- Assist with Immunohistochemistry procedures and other lab tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience in histological techniques (paraffin embedding staining microtomy)
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and prioritize tasks
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a physical science medical technology preferred
- New York State Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist License is required and at least 2 years experience in histological procedures
Benefits
Salary Range: $82000 $103000 (DOE) $5000 SignOn Bonus
Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
