Our dedicated Indigenous Family Services Team is an established group of professionals committed to providing culturally safe and traumainformed services to children youth and families. Our team includes seven social workers a social work assistant and a roots practitioner who collaborate with various specialist including resource social workers child and youth mental health clinicians and community professional to support families in partnership with Indigenous communities and Elders. Together we work to create a respectful and inclusive environment that honors Indigenous knowledge traditions and practices.
The Role
This role is focused on providing compassionate inclusive support to mothers at the Maxxine Wright Health CentreSecond Stage Housing helping them navigate and access essential health and social services. You will work closely with women impacted by substance use and/or violence to ensure they receive pre and postnatal care opioid treatment primary healthcare and parenting support. This role provides vital support and protection for mothers and their children facilitating early intervention and prevention.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

This position is located in Surrey and provides service delivery inSurrey Delta Langley and White Rock.
This is a temporary opportunity until August 31 2026.
