Job Description
The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for an Acting Vice Principal for George Freeman School in Strathmore AB for the 2025/2026 school year . Strathmore is situated on the Trans Canada Highway and is only a 25minute commute from Calgary.
George Freeman is a Kindergarten to Grade 9 school. It is attached to a large jointuse recreational facility including an indoor track soccer field and multiple gymnasiums.
Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications:
- Evidence of leading for learning and strong teaching skills
- Positive interpersonal relations with staff parents and community members
- Evidence of ability to work effectively within a collaborative decisionmaking environment and to promote a positive culture
- Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (or equivalent) or evidence of progress towards a Masters Degree
- Supportive of direction from principal and desire to advance to this role
