Job Description
Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) in ANNAPOLIS Maryland is seeking a fulltime licensed veterinarian or a licensed Physical Therapist with CCRT or CCRP certification. to join our growing rehabilitation team.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated teamoriented rehabilitation therapist to help expand our rehabilitation department while collaborating closely with our skilled specialty team includingcertified rehabilitation technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and developindividualized treatment plansfor canine rehabilitation patients.
- Work collaboratively with ourboardcertified surgeons referring veterinarians and inhouse specialty teamsto ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Utilize a full suite of advanced rehabilitation equipment includingtherapeutic ultrasound laser therapy shockwave therapy an underwater treadmill and other cuttingedge modalities.
- Provideexceptional client education and communicationto pet owners and referring veterinarians.

CVSS is awellestablished surgical practicewith a30 year reputation for excellencein Maryland. With locations inAnnapolis and Hunt Valley our practice is home to a dedicated andcollaborative teamthat includes:
- 8 boardcertified small animal surgeons(plus one boardeligible surgeon for 2026
- 4 residents and 3 surgical interns
- 3 certified rehabilitation therapists 2 CCRVNs and 1 CCRA
As anACVS Practice Partner CVSS has astrong surgical residency programwith a100 pass ratefor all residents who have completed the program.

- Internal medicine oncology cardiology emergency/critical care neurology ophthalmology radiology radiation oncology rehabilitation and dentistry.

- Stateoftheart equipment includingdigital radiology MRI CT hyperbaric oxygen chamber (Hunt Valley location) arthroscopy laparoscopy thoracoscopy and a full suite of orthopedic neurologic and soft tissue instrumentation.
