Job Description
Afognak Diversified Services Inc a company of Afognak Native Corporation has opportunities for fulltime Armed Security Officers.The Armed Security Officer duties and responsibilities include a variety of security related duties to include but not limited to Access Control; Roving Patrols; Traffic Control; Control Issuance and Storage of keys; Security and Fire Systems; Building Rules and Regulations; Response to Incident Injury Illness; and other security related duties as required. This is a fulltime position.
- Responds to a variety of calls/incidents secures/safeguards crime scenes perform crowd control as required performs personnel vehicular and building facility checks First Aid and CPR as required and completes all required reports forms and other documentation IAW established procedures.
- Staffs post continuously and provide access control; deters/reports unauthorized personnel or vehicular entry directs traffic and provides information to visitors and screens packages
- Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapon maintains uniform and grooming standards IAW company policies operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner
- Conducts flag protocols
- Safeguards all assets provide motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment
- Conducts any other assignments in accordance with established SOPs
- Familiar with Security systems including CCTV and mobile security applications
Payrate:$20.00 to $22.00 hourly
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Flexible to work various shifts to include weekends and Holidays
- Must successfully complete a preemployment physical exam and drug screen
- Must successfully complete a preemployment Physical Readiness Test
- Must possess and maintain state required Armed Security Officer licensing
- Must possess and maintain state required Concealed Carry Permit (where applicable)
- Current Operators permit. (Drivers License)
- Must be selfmotivated and have the ability to work with little supervision
