The Grade 2 Physiotherapist works alongside the Multidisciplinary team to provide senior clinical physiotherapy services to clients/patients. Ensures practice is in accordance to Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and guidelines.
The Grade 2 Physiotherapist is expected to work independently and demonstrate a depth of experience. The Grade 2 Physiotherapist is expected to initiate and participate in teaching training research and quality activities to supervise students and supervise and mentor junior caregivers.
The Position
Provide high quality evidence based senior Physiotherapy services to patients/clients within the clinical specialty area/s including hydrotherapy where applicable.
Provide physiotherapy assessment intervention and evaluation at a senior practice level for complex and general caseload/s.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.
Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.
Participate in evidence based clinical research activities where applicable.
Active participation in the multidisciplinary team including clinical meetings
Document in the patient/clients healthcare record in accordance with the SJGHC policies and procedure
Maintain statistical data in accordance with departmental and professional clinical guidelines.
You will hold a registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist and will have a demonstrated understanding of effective verbal and written communication skills.
To succeed in this multidisciplinary team you will have recent experience in Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments.

We can offer you
Salary: $92652 to $110805 (pro rata for part time) plus 11.5 superannuation
5 weeks annual leave
Fixed term 12months full time position available.
