Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Details:

This role is responsible for capturing and analyzing video footage of the Canning process to support training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. The individual will work closely with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization enhance efficiency and ensure best practices are documented and implemented.

  • Record and document Canning process workflows for training and process improvement.
  • Maintain an organized library of process videos and documentation for future reference.
  • Ensure all recorded processes align with safety quality and regulatory standards.

This position requires strong attention to detail the ability to interpret and analyze production processes and a proactive approach to enhancing operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

  • Attending a fouryear college or university to attain a Bachelors degree in Film Studies or a similar field; or already awarded a Bachelors degree in Film Studies or a related discipline from a fouryear college or university.

    Required Skills

    • Video Production & Editing: Proficiency in recording editing and managing video content for training and process improvement.
    • Attention to Detail: Ability to capture precise footage that accurately reflects process workflows and improvement opportunities.
    • Analytical Thinking: Capability to analyze video footage to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
    • Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams including operations engineering and quality departments.
    • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing or food production environments particularly in canning processes is a plus.
    • Project Management: Ability to organize maintain and manage a video library while ensuring documentation aligns with training and process improvement goals.
    • Software Proficiency: Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Final Cut Pro or similar) Microsoft Office and workflow management tools like Smartsheet or Trello.
    • Process Documentation: Ability to translate visual information into training materials and standard operating procedures.

    • Ability to read analyze and interpret the most complex documents.
    • Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.

    Reasoning Ability

    • Ability to assess video footage and identify inefficiencies or areas for process improvement within the canning operation.
    • Ability to evaluate and interpret recorded data to provide actionable recommendations for training and process optimization.
    • Ability to use collected data and observations to support evidencebased decisions that enhance operational effectiveness.
