MCNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY is accepting applications to fill the position for Adult Health Clinical Assistant Professor of Undergraduate Nursing. This is a fulltime 9month unclassified nontenuretrack position. This position requires inperson teaching on campus. The appointment is available immediately.

POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Clinical Assistant Professor a faculty member in the Undergraduate Nursing Degree Program has responsibilities that include but are not limited to: administration teaching university/community service and research/scholarly work. Specific duties include: implementing University and College policies and procedures; implementing the program curricula; participating in curriculum and course planning implementation and evaluation; student advisement; mentoring; assisting in evaluating clinical settings and experiences related to the course and student learning needs; planning clinical experiences for students and evaluating the clinical competence of students; serves on University and College of Nursing committees; participates in the community by offering volunteer services and/or offering consultation and/or inservice education to clinical agencies or community agencies/organizations; and initiates and/or participates in nursing research activities.
