About Dodd Vision

Established in 1973 by Dr. Gary Dodd Dodd Vision is a familyowned business serving the Akron communities with exceptional optometric care. In 2007 the practice transitioned to Dr. Andy Dodd who takes pride in continuing his fathers vision to provide quality affordable and trustworthy eye care. The practice focuses on general and medical optometry specializing in ocular disease diagnosis treatment and management pediatric eye care and specialty contact lenses. To support the practices continued growth and the construction of a new office Dr. Dodd is looking to add an Optometrist to the highlytrained staff of six employees.

The professionals at Dodd Vision offer a personalized vision care experience in a comfortable friendly and professional environment. Fully suited with topoftheline optical equipment the practice utilizes Optomap Retinal Imaging Topcon Maestro Optical Coherence Tomography and additional diagnostic technologies. Patients enjoy a familyfriendly experience as they shop a wide selection of fashionable eyewear and designer frames from the optical department. Plus the practice carries a comprehensive array of contact lenses from daily disposables and extended wear soft lenses to gas permeable.

About the Optometrist Opening

Dodd Vision is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. Youll provide comprehensive eye examinations educate patients about their ocular health and recommend visionenhancing productsapproximately 15 to 20 patients are cared for daily. The position is for 30 to 40 hours weekly with the potential to transition to fulltime. The practice is looking for a wellrounded professional interested in a longterm opportunity and is excited to support the expansion of Dodd Vision to a new location.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate leadership communication interpersonal skills and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition the ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Optometry license in the state of Ohio
