The Athletic Trainer (NATA Certified) serves as the primary athletic trainer for one or more assigned sports programs. As part of the Virginia Tech Athletics Sports Medicine area this position reports directly to the Assistant and/or Associate AD / Sports Medicine.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree with athletic training/sports medicine experience.
National Athletic Trainers Association certification by hire date.
Commitment to diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree.
Additional certification in CPR/First Aid.
Teaching experience.
Research Experience.
Sports medicine experience in a Division I Power 4 athletics program.
