PETER DHLE SchiffahrtsKG is a provider of global maritime services with roots in Hamburg and home ports all over the world. To support our Shipmanagement at the next possible time we are looking for a QHSE Superintedent (m/f/d)
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Act as primary & designated point of contact for internal and external safety security and environmental related inquiries for vessels within a technical fleet team
- Prepare ships and follow up on any type of audits / inspections in close cooperation with Master C/E and internal stakeholders to guarantee excellent inspection results
- Review reports of nonconformities accidents incidents near misses and internal NCRs and ensure quality data is captured
- Be responsible for postincident investigations analysing causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Conduct internal audits for safety security environmental measures taking into account the certified standards and implemented company expectations
- Take responsibility for the content introduction training and document control of companys management system and liaise with peerlevel technical fleet team and direct superior related to improvement potentials
- Act as a key member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) taking part in incident management and coordination
Your profile
- Seagoing experience in position as Master or Chief Officer OR minimum 2 years shore experience in a similar role of a QHSE / Nautical/ Vetting Superintendent
- Persuasiveness and enthusiasm as well as the ability to contribute positively as part of a team and to adapt to a diverse working and
team environment - Effective interpersonal communication skills and the willingness to travel
- Good self organization a structured way of working and effective time management
- Self motivation and the ability to work successfully under time pressure
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficient in all Microsoft 365 Office applications
- Good presentation skills
