The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized professional and energetic individual to serve as Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) Learning and Professional Development Facilitator. Subject to administrative approval this position will plan conduct facilitate and manage highly specialized statewide/regional child welfare training courses and workshops consistent with performancebased training and quality improvement strategies relevant to the Agencys program and performance goals and outcomes for child safety wellbeing and permanency. The position will also provide ongoing support to assigned statewide/regional staff in the development of child welfare services training curricula and annual training plans utilizing a performance analysis process. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in working to ensure child welfare professionals receive the best possible training to enable them to do their jobs effectively.
