Janitorial Technician Mid Shift

ClearView Building Maintenance Inc. is a woman owned commercial cleaning company expanding throughout Midmichigan. This opportunity starts at 3:30pm MW and 6pm on Fridays. Currently 18 hours weeklywith the potential to pair with anther opportunity for those that desire more hours.

Cleaning/Janitorial Technician

Position Overview:
The Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at an assigned location. This stable and specialized role requires consistency attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring that the assigned facility remains clean and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks at the assigned location including but not limited to:

  • Gather empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.

  • Clean floors and baseboards by sweeping mopping and/or vacuuming.

  • Dust vents office furniture equipment sills wallmounted objects etc. as per schedule.

  • Keep areas stocked with supplies such as paper products soaps etc.

  • Clean and sanitize areas such as restrooms exam rooms offices break rooms etc.

  • Clean high touch points such as glass chrome fixtures phones etc.

• Request supplies as needed to ensure that all necessary materials are on hand.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitor storage areas.

• Ensure buildings are secure by locking doors and turning on/off alarm systems.

• Notify the manager when a building requires minor repairs.

• Adhere to specific cleaning requirements as detailed for each location.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the site manager.

• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

• Strong time management skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Meet insurance requirements.

Work Environment:

• Consistent work location.

• Routine work schedule typically fixed shifts.

• Familiarity with the assigned facility and tasks.

Physical Demands:

• Routine standing walking bending and lifting (up to 50lbs).

• Must be able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

• Limited travel as work is sitespecific.

• On feet for entirety of assigned shift

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to one Zone Supervisor or Lead Technician.

• Works with other cleaning staff at the assigned location if location requires.

• Mid shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
