Job Description

Job Description Summary
Assist with teaching in the Continuing Education EMS program. To lead or assist in AHA courses in one or more of the following: Basic Cardiac Life Support BCLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS Heartsaver Courses

Duties
Duties will include the set up and break down of classrooms proper use of equipment current knowledge of AHA standards. Also will need to know how to manage college paperwork and schedules. Classes may be located on campus or out in the community.

Minimum Requirements
Must have a minimum of one of the following current (unexpired) AHA Instructor certifications : BCLS Instructor ACLS Instructor PALS Instructor Experience teaching high school age or adult learners.

Preferred Qualifications
Level 1 or 2 NC EMS Instructor. Experience as an instructor thru EMS AHA or ARC .; Associates Degree or higher.
