Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary: 27861..35 dependent on experience (based on full time working hours pro rata for part time hours)
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31st of March 2026
Responsibilities
As a Prison Inreach Worker youll play a crucial role in supporting individuals identified through the Criminal Justice System to reduce substance misuse related harm to each individual and the wider community and to help reduce reoffending. Were seeking a compassionate individual with a particular interest in working with those who may have had contact with the criminal justice system or need support for alcohol and/or drug use.
Responsibilities:
- Partnership Working: Work colocated with local HMP (prison) teams on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Assessment: Provide screening treatment and risk assessments psychosocial interventions recovery planning and signposting prior to and/or on release from prison.
- Support: Manage the safe and effective transfer of (potential) service users from prison to community treatment.
- Continuity of Care: Help to develop communication referral and treatment pathways between the service and HMPs to enhance continuity of care.
- Interventions: Support the wider Criminal Justice team with interventions such as conditional cautions and Required Assessments.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Supporting individuals with complex barriers to success.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the Criminal Justice System and effective interventions to reduce drugrelated crime.
- Collaboration: Experience working with Criminal Justice Partnerships.

Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and obtain HMPPS security clearance and Police Vetting.
