Job Description:
Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (CHH) Behavioral Health Services the flagship behavioral health service line of Hartford Healthcares Northwest region and primary teaching hospital for Quinnipiac Universitys Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine is seeking a Psychiatrist committed to resident and medical student education to serve as a clinical leader for our outpatient services. The Psychiatrist will serve as a clinical leader within the clinic and participate in patient care resident supervision and medical student teaching joining a mature and collegial faculty peer group. Applicants will be eligible for academic appointment through the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine commensurate with the schools appointments and promotions processes.

The Department of Psychiatry at CHH provides a full continuum of behavioral health services that includes an Adult Inpatient 17 Bed Unit 650 admissions) Emergency Department Crisis Intervention 2048 visits)Partial Hospital/Dual Diagnosis 4018 visits) Adult & Child Outpatient 33335 visits) Inhome Infant Mental Health Mental Health Services to the Homeless and Community Case Managers for those with substance use needs.
