Technical Trainer - AC Power

We are currently seeking a Technical Trainer to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO) Italy!

As AC Power Main Trainer you will design AC Power Service courses and deliver effective and complete learning experiences to Vertiv Customer Engineers Distributors and Customers. Moreover you will be part of and continuously growing the network of the Academy Local Trainers.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Work with AC Power and Service & Software Solutions LoBs (Line of Business) to agree on training priorities and learning objectives and ensure continue technical handover from Global Training and regional Engineering
• Define the content of The Academy courses working with the Global Training team; where appropriate drive the activities of a technical committee to collaboratively make decisions and approve training content and materials
• Define prepare and update the training material covering the product portfolio: online theoretical material and tests multimedia tools procedures residential classroom material and practical exercises final tests; trainers additional material and teaching notes; support the creation of Technical Knockout documentation
• Successfully and effectively deliver training sessions in blended learning: remote selflearning residential classroom final exams and diploma ceremony; if needed deliver courses in other training centres or sites;
• Maintain the Training Area and the demo units at their best for welcoming students and providing effective and complete training experiences; support local trainers for their relevant Training Areas set up and accreditation
• Participate in unconventional educational activities (outdoor etc).

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Bachelors degree in electrical/electrotechnical Engineering or diploma / secondary school
• 3 years of experience with AC Power products.
• Service experience preferable.
• Good written and spoken English with knowledge of the main technical language/words used in the relevant product application business.
• Previous experience in delivering training preferable.
