We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer for the Engineering Team.
What Youll Do:
- Design develop test deploy maintain and improve feature development on Fullscript
- Create detailed API documentation to enable thirdparty developers to easily integrate with our platform
- Build scalable backend applications to support the growing needs of the business
- Review pull requests mentor and be an advocate for highquality code that makes future development faster easier and better.
- Take full ownership and responsibility for building shipping testing deploying and maintaining features
- Scope and plan projects and working with other developers (frontend and back) to implement them
- Give input on highlevel architecture decisions and communicate those decisions
- Other duties determined by the company from time to time
What You Bring:
- You are a passionate software engineer that cares about your craft. You are excited to learn lead projects and want to produce the best work possible
- Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with Javascript or JS frameworks (React Vue AngularJS Next or similar)
- Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap as well as CSS preprocessors
- You write tests and understand their value
- You have a desire to learn and being open to feedback
- Understanding of design patterns and clean code
