Job Description
Senior Environmental Engineer
CKL is currently seeking enthusiasticstudents with an interest in environmental engineering who would like the opportunity to grow their skills in the field.
CKL is a multidisciplinary professional services firm headquartered in Chicago Illinois with offices in Atlanta Georgia and Orlando Florida.We provide engineering and construction management services to a variety of public and private clients. CKL is looking for talented leaders to build upon our strengths and grow locally regionally and nationally.
EXPECTATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On a daily basis environmental engineerswill...
- Conduct preconstruction surveys monitoring and preparemonitoring reports
- Maintaincompliance with environmental permits and regulations
- Assure that erosion and sedimentation control measures are installed and maintained
- Assist with planning developing coordinating and ensuring the successful completion of projects
- Prepare and monitor project schedules to assure successful delivery of projects on time and on budget
- Prepare engineering project proposals in coordination with other engineers
- Make independent decisions and take responsibility for project solutions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university
- At least 5 years of experience as an environmental engineer
- Relevant environmental compliance experience
- Experience in implementing the National Environmental Policy Act(NEPA
- Experience in technical writing
- Registered Civil Engineer (PE) in the State of Illinois
- Strong written verbal computer and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team
- US citizenship
- Proficiency with MS Excel MS Word and Primavera P6 AutoCAD is a plus
- 3.0 GPA or better required
