Responsibilities
What Youll Do
As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will collaborate with a broad array of talented software engineers to build amazing software that will transform the Ford Reservation Services into the standard for providing an excellent digital experience for Service appointments for vehicles. Innovate problemsolve and build new features and exciting capabilities to support launches of customercentric features.
Develop Ford Reservation Services iteratively in a pairprogramming environment
Create features based on regular user interviews and fast feedback
Work in an environment where you can learn and share knowledge openly
Define foster and advance your teams culture norms and practices
Choose to work remotely onsite or both
Maintain a healthy worklife balance while revolutionizing automotive
Qualifications
Youll Have
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field OR a combination of education and equivalent experience
5 years of understanding practicing and advocating for clean code principles such as testdriven development (TDD) selfdocumenting code continuous refactoring and Extreme Programming (XP)
5 years of experience and proficiency in frontend languages such as JavaScript/Typescript and a familiarity with other languages such as Java
5 years of practical meaningful experience with frontend frameworks such as React Angular VueJs
Even Better Youll Have
Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field OR a combination of education and equivalent experience
Experience with web and mobile accessibility standards (WCAG compliance) tools and testing (e.g. screenreaders axe user interviews)
Experience with Behavior Driven Development
Mechanical and engineering empathy
A desire to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers
