Job Type: FullTime Permanent
Salary:per annum

The AHP team at Pulse is seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to our team in Walsall. As a crucial part of our multidisciplinary clinical team you will support educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people.

Our Speech & Language Therapists work collaboratively within our schools and childrens homes ensuring that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education care and support we offer. You will provide consultation workshops training and guidance to the educational and residential teams.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

You will deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs. You will support teams to provide clinically informed living and learning environments. You will act as a model guide leader and trainer for educational and residential staff. You will conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualized intervention plans. You will provide consultation workshops and training to staff. You will ensure the best outcomes for young people through proactive and organized work.

What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
  • Specialist with proven skills and experience in delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs
  • Experience in supporting teams to provide clinically informed living and learning environments
  • Confident engaging and effective as a model guide leader and trainer
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people
