Following its recent acquisition by SLR Wardell Armstrong forms part of a leading global environmental and sustainability consultancy working on projects across the world from over 100 offices. Starting as a UK business in 1994 SLR now operates as a global company with more than 3500 people delivering clientfocused solutions across Europe North America Pacific Asia and Africa. We are currently instructed on a number of interesting and exciting projects ranging in type and size. We undertake design of site infrastructure for schemes as diverse as small affordable residential estates quarry and mining sites wind solar and battery energy projects mixeduse commercial developments and educational facilities. We support our clients through all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility to construction.
You will be part of the Civil Engineering team preparing reports drawings and specifications for development infrastructure. This will comprise primarily highway and drainage elements; firstly developing outline designs in accordance with national and local standards and gaining planning approval and then developing the designs to gain full technical approval and produce construction information. You will be responsible for leading the design development process interacting with clients approving authorities and the wider Wardell Armstrong team to deliver schemes to programme and budget. You will be fully supported by both senior and junior staff to ensure that you can deliver high quality work and progress your career to the next level.
