Are you a dynamic sales professional ready to make your mark in the dental health industry Colgate a global leader in oral care is looking for a Territory Manager to join our professional team (Colgate Oral Care Pharmaceuticals). This is your chance to drive growth and make a tangible impact in the lives of dental professionals and their patients.
About the role:
As a Territory Manager for Colgate Oral Care Pharmaceuticals (COP) youll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver toptier oral health products across a dedicated geographic area. Youll harness your sales expertise to build strong relationships with dental practices boosting net sales enhancing product mix and growing the overall consumption of Colgate products.
Please note candidates must reside within the geographic territory in order to be considered. Candidates located outside of the territory (or not open to relocation) will not be considered.
Travel required: 1030 geography dependent
Remote work: 20
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales by promoting and merchandising Colgates professional dental products.
Cultivate and expand relationships with dental practices to bolster sales and identify new opportunities.
Develop with the support of a Regional Manager territory business plan prioritizing largest/most profitable opportunities continuously decreasing costtoserve
Build and maintain successful working relationships with Corporate DSO team Remote Selling Team Call Center Marketing 3rd partys distributors Sales Force and Dental Professionals to deliver business results
Represent Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals at dental conventions local dental/hygiene associations & study clubs and dental/ hygiene schools.
Educate customers through detailing and inclinic seminars/lunch & learns on the superior efficacy and value of Colgate professional portfolio
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
0 to 2 years of sales experience.
Positive and strong relationship building skills and engage collaboratively across functions and levels within the organization.
Willingness to travel to client locations and occasionally visit the office.
Valid Drivers License
Proficiency in English is a requirement as it allows us to communicate effectively with our external and internal partners.
Preferred qualifications:
Prior sales experience in the dental industry CPG or medical devices.
Knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape in health care products
Experience working with thirdparty distributors.
Background in B2B dental hygiene or dental office settings.
Expected Skills:
A selfstarter with a strong drive to expand and cultivate your sales territory.
Excellent communication relationship building and presentation skills highly competitive tenacious and selfmotivated
Good analytical skills and basic understanding of business terminology
Proficiency in influencing negotiation and closing sales.
Comfort engaging with dental professionals.
A digital native eager to embrace and leverage new technologies.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $60400.00 $85000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profitsharing and longterm incentives for Executivelevel roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
