Job Summary
The Sales Analyst works closely with the sales teams to assist with closing highly profitable energy deals. This role will support the Midwest Northeast business markets.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Supports the deal closure process with business customers through a variety of means including obtaining usage history finalizing deal capture and generating customer prices
Through direct interaction with customers closed highly profitable energy deals and informs customers of TXU Energy / Dynegy products and services in the assigned geographic territory
Maintains customer service levels by working with customers to obtain account information provide contract pricing and resolve account issues
Ensures adherence to regulatory and government guidelines in maintaining customer accounts
Ensures an accurate and timely process for maintaining customer account information & closing pricing transactions
Generates and presents regular and ad hoc reports regarding customer accounts and sales processes
Works with organizations throughout TXUE / Dynegy to ensure customer accounts are handled efficiently and accurately
Ensures customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
Works with contract & credit groups to prepare customer offers
Remains current on competitive intelligence and energy industry trends
Closes deregulated energy services transactions in support of the direct sales force
Prepares proposals & presentations to formulate offers to customers
Assists with onthejob training for new employees
Assists in managing the sales region in the absence of the Director/Manager
Education Experience & Skill Requirements
35 years of experience in the Energy industry preferably in an Sales Analyst role
Knowledge of the PJM and MISOenergy markets preferred.
Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
High School Diploma or equivalency required
Key Metrics
Ability to answer general and credit contract questions
Demonstrate basic financial skills
Ability to provide creative solutions in system and process design
