What Youll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED General Studies
- Successful completion of a North Carolina Board of Nursing Aide I approved training program/competency evaluation
- Nurse Aide I Registration Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide I Registry
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Preferred: Prior experience
Functions:
- Assist RN in patient care.
- Perform specialized procedures as directed.
- Maintain a safe therapeutic environment for all.
- Ensure accurate timely patient info sharing.
- Communicate effectively positively and professionally.
- Provide ageappropriate care per guidelines.
- Take initiative for growth and development.
Physical and Behavioral Requirements:
- Lift carry and push heavy objects.
- Perform bending squatting and standing tasks.
- Use visual acuity for reading and documentation.
- Maintain a sense of smell for safety.
- Utilize a sense of touch to evaluate vital signs.
- Communicate effectively verbally and audibly.
