Float Location: 10 Congress St. Suite 208/375 Huntington Drive
Pay range: $23 $26/hr
Hours: Day 5x8Hour 07:00 17:30
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
12 hours nonbillable orientation

Required Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA AMCA AMT CCBMA or MMCI.
Experience with medical insurance referral processes and benefit plans
2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
Experience with CSLink/Epic
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years working as an MA in Internal Family Pediatrics or Primary Care
Understanding of medical terminology
Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests taking blood pressure weight and temperature and reporting patient history summaries
Job Duties:
Assist with tracking and monitoring departmentspecific data
Explain policies procedures or services to patients based on scope of practice
Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs
Clean and reprocess equipment and supplies following department guidelines
Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types
Handle patient/provider correspondence
Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CSLink/Epic
