We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our AHP team at a leading SEN school in Sunderland. This purposebuilt school with specialist classrooms extensive grounds and sporting facilities supports young people with ADHD ASD SEMH and SLCN. Role Overview:
As a Speech & Language Therapist you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary clinical team providing therapeutic support within our educational and residential settings. You will conduct clinical assessments formulate individualized interventions and engage with our young people to support their development. Your role will involve working collaboratively with educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will provide therapeutic interventions and support to young people with complex needs. You will conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. You will collaborate with educational and residential teams to ensure clinically informed environments. You will offer consultation workshops training and guidance to staff. You will support the holistic development of young people through integrated therapeutic approaches.
