This purposebuilt school with specialist classrooms extensive grounds and sporting facilities supports young people with ADHD ASD SEMH and SLCN. Role Overview:
As a Speech & Language Therapist you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary clinical team providing therapeutic support within our educational and residential settings. You will conduct clinical assessments formulate individualized interventions and engage with our young people to support their development. Your role will involve working collaboratively with educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will provide therapeutic interventions and support to young people with complex needs. You will conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. You will collaborate with educational and residential teams to ensure clinically informed environments. You will offer consultation workshops training and guidance to staff. You will support the holistic development of young people through integrated therapeutic approaches.
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
- Experienced in delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
- Skilled in supporting teams to create clinically informed environments.
- Confident engaging and effective as a model guide leader and trainer.
- Highly organized and proactive.
- Committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
