Job Description
- Parttime maximumterm position to December 2025
- Set shift of 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday 40 hours per fortnight
- Menu plan cook and deliver meals for 48 young children

Your new role
Uniting in partnership with the Victorian Department of Education and Parkville Institute are operating the first Intensive Early Childhood Education and Care Research trial. This childcare service located in Richmond will seek to determine whether children recruited with the same eligibility criteria as those in the trial project can achieve the same remarkable learning and development outcomes.
This will be one of three research sites established in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to research that could shape the future of the early childhood sector in Australia.
The Centre Cook will plan cook and deliver morning tea lunch and afternoon tea for 48 young children which meets 75 of their daily nutritional requirements.

About you your skills and experience
The Centre Cook of this research implementation site will have experience in the planning preparation and delivery of highly nutritious meals.
You will be able to work autonomously in the daytoday delivery of meals while contributing to the broader discussions around healthy eating and collaborating with the wider team on menu changes and alterations.
You will also have a clear interest and / or experience in working with children in an early childhood setting.
