- BASIC PURPOSE
Janitor position to wash/clean mop vacuum wipe down and dust as explained by Corps Officers to keep corps building building surrounding parking lot and parking lot surroundings clean. Must have basic English communication ability.
The Custodial / Repair position will perform basic repair functions in our shelter rooms clean rooms as needed wash change linen as required perform light repair work in and around the Garden St shelter facility.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning of classrooms offices and bathrooms
Perform necessary duties as needed
Sweeping and moping of floors removal of trash
Cleaning of windows
- KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Ability to speak Basic English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong ability to utilize a high level of time management and handling multiple tasks
- Perform assigned task as determined by supervisor.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
- Must be 21 years or older.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit walk stand bend squat climb kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis
- Ability to grasp push and/or pull objects
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to process written visual and/or verbal information
