Job Description
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit or within his/her department including knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Workload is approximately 80 managerial / 20 clinical (may vary depending on span of control & number of CC/unit managers) and does include being a member of the STEMI team and taking STEMI Call.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of one year experience in an acute inpatient setting.
Minimum of three years experience in a CCL.
Current and valid Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or from a state that is part of a Compact agreement with Virginia
Annual education for unitspecific and hospital skills
Annual education per hospital certifications
BLS & ACLS
BSN
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Cath Lab Manager or Director
CertificationPreferred
MSN
Competencies Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work under stressful and changing situations
Leadership competencies as defined by the organization
Annual Augusta Health educational requirements per hospital certifications and defined unit competencies.
Regulatory Requirements Designated Accreditation body State Fire Environmental etc.
