We are looking for a motivated Junior Rust Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Rust programming and an eagerness to learn about systems programming security principles and crossplatform development. You will assist in building and maintaining applications that run on Win32 macOS and Linux.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement software solutions using Rust.
Write clean efficient and welldocumented code while learning best practices.
Assist in testing and debugging applications across different platforms (Win32 macOS Linux).
Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback.
Gain familiarity with security best practices and contribute to identifying vulnerabilities in code.
Document development processes and assist in maintaining technical documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Some experience with Rust programming (personal projects internships or coursework).
Basic understanding of systems programming and operating system concepts.
Familiarity with either Win32 API macOS or Linux development environments is a plus.
A willingness to learn about security principles and best practices.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in Rust
Experience with other programming languages (e.g. C/C Python) is a plus.
Exposure to version control systems (e.g. Git).
Interest in containerization technologies (e.g. Docker).
