We are looking for an Electrical Engineer II to join our highly innovative and experienced innovations team in developing new Power Electronics Systems for UV applications.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative electronical hardware and integrate them into system architecture with a focus on power electronics from conception to series production.
- Develop design and engineer specifications and prepare or review design layouts of electronic circuits by cooperating with external development partners and suppliers.
- Support the creation of equipment requirements and specifications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct initial prototyping of electromechanical and electronic assemblies circuit boards and systems.
- Run testing and verification against the functional specifications.
What is Required for this Role:
- BS/MS in electrical engineering mechatronics or comparable.
- Demonstrated experience pertinent to power electronics preferably 5 years in electrical systems and components in product development.
- Direct experience or familiarity with high voltage power supply design topologies such as Switch Mode SolidState or FerroResonant power supply preferred.
- Experience in the use of Simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB Spice).
- Knowledge in electronic circuit designs and respective tools (e.g. Altium).
- Knowledge in the field of embedded software (C/C) preferred.
- Selfdirected and independent style of work preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
