Job Description

As a mason you perform masonry works in the construction of buildings in all phases of the construction process. You interpret architectural plans make foundations and lay sewer pipes and rainwater wells ...

Profile

  • You can carry out masonry work independently.
  • You have a VCA certificate and you can demonstrate at least 23 years of experience in the construction sector as a bricklayer.
  • You work accurately and can read architectural plans.
  • You are in possession of a driving license B.
  • You see work are eager to learn and can handle physical work.
  • You use the PPE correctly as prescribed.

Function

  • Prepare work places with colleagues.
  • Bricklaying of quickbuild and facade masonry and bonding of bricks.
  • Prepare and apply mortar filler etc.
  • Placing insulation material.
  • Carry out limited demolition work.
