Job Description
Workshop/APD is an awardwinning multidisciplinary architecture and design firm. We are currently seeking a talented and selfmotivated Junior Designer to join our team at Workshop/APD. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of work experience in architectural and interior design projects demonstrating their creative process in highendresidential and hospitality work. Proficiency in advanced digital modeling and rendering and professional expertise in Revit are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the project team in understanding requirements and contribute to developing innovative design concepts.
- Create visually compelling client presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Source products materials and finishes that align with project goals.
- Develop accurate 3D models and renderings of architectural projects and design concepts.
- Prepare detailed working drawings designs plans and models for project .
- Be a team player and collaborate effectively with lead designers and project managers to support project deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Concept Design Design Development and Construction Documentation.
- Strong conceptual graphic and design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD and/or Revit Enscape Rhino Bluebeam Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in SketchUp is considered advantageous though not mandatory.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment with strong communication organizational and teamwork skills.
Position Requirements
- Strong internship experience or 1 3 years of work experience in the Architecture or Interior Design industry particularly in highend residential commercial or hospitality design.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
