Job Description
Cedar Park Med is a leading healthcare staffing provider connecting top medical professionals with rewarding career opportunities. We are currently seeking three skilled Radiologic Technologists (CT/MRI Diagnostic and Interventional) for a 13week contracts. 3 positions available.
***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***
Shift: 8hrs 5 days nights & evenings
Nuclear Med Tech positions is Day shift 7.30am 4pm
Job Responsibilities
As a Radiologic Technologist CT/MRI you will:
- Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists.
- Greet and explain procedures to patients ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Properly position patients and set exposure factors to obtain highquality imaging.
- Follow strict radiation safety and protection guidelines to minimize exposure risks.
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report malfunctions to supervisors.
- Process films and input patient information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing.
- Adhere to department protocols and policies ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Valid New York State license/registration in Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of one year of CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Looking for GE or Toshiba CT experience
- Must successfully pass preemployment health clearance.
