This position is a seasonal position and is from January 2025 June 30 2025.
What you will do:
- Safely operate a forklift centering loads maintaining visibility and following work area speed limits.
- Regularly load and/or assist in loading trailer with materials following prescribed weight distributions and capacity limits.
- Actively follow safety procedures for different types of equipment wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Prepare equipment (forklift shrink wrapping machine and small yard tractor) for safe operation.
- Accurately count products to maintain up to date inventory records. Report any discrepancies to assigned leader in a timely manner.
- At shift end store equipment in designated areas and take appropriate steps to prepare equipment for next day operation.
- As needed assist in performing routine maintenance of seed treater or bulk tank pumps.
- Perform other duties and assignments to meet operational needs of the business.
What you will bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- An engaged safetyfirst mindset.
- Accountability to team with dependable attendance and completing share of workload.
- Follow through on assigned tasks from start to finish.
- Attention to detail when completing paperwork for inventory check ins and check outs.
- Ability to learn and regularly follow order selecting safety and warehouse operational procedures.
- Collaboration with team members in completing daily housekeeping tasks.
- Ability to move 50 60 pounds.
- Previous experience with SAP software is a bonus but not required.
- Flexibility is also a plus as work schedule may adjust due to business demands.
