Quality Manager Common Hardware Systems6th Generation Program at Leidos
Leidos is searching for a diligent Quality Manager to support the Common Hardware Systems6th Generation (CHS6 Program. This role focuses on ensuring topquality standards throughout the program.
This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the opportunity to collaborate inperson at our Edgewood MD location on a weekly basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop strategies goals tasks roles responsibilities and information needs for QA surveillance.
Serve as the CHS6 programs QA lead for planning work product reviews and quality audits.
Implement and maintain the Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP).
Support Quality Management Reviews by reporting to higherlevel management on the programs quality achievements and progress towards meeting quality objectives.
Update the programs Tailored Process Baseline (TPB) as required.
Provide review and input to program plans and other documents to ensure accurate and ontime CHS6 deliverables.
Conduct quality audits in adherence to the programs audit schedule and Leidos policies and report audit results to program leadership.
Generate corrective action requests for audit findings and maintain the Common Audit Database (CAD) with timely updates/closures of audit findings.
Support external audits conducted in support of maintaining the organizations AS9100 certification.
Security Clearance:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with 6 years of relevant experience. Additional experience trainings or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Quality assurance experience in a procurement environment.
Experience implementing ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
Experience conducting quality audits and preparing for external certification.
Proficiency with tools like SharePoint and MS Office products (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and function in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certification is desirable.
Familiarity with procurement/warehousing processes is a plus.
