We are seeking a dedicated Student Nurse to join our healthcare team in Baltimore. This position offers an excellent opportunity for nursing students to gain handson experience while continuing their education in a supportive clinical environment.
- Assist licensed nursing staff in providing basic patient care under direct supervision
- Perform basic clinical procedures according to training level and facility protocols
- Document patient information and care activities in electronic health records
- Participate in patient assessments and monitoring vital signs
- Assist with patient mobility feeding and personal hygiene tasks
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Attend required training sessions and educational activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications :
- Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program
- Valid CPR certification
- Uptodate immunizations and health screenings as required by the facility
- Basic clinical skills and understanding of patient care fundamentals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced healthcare environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic health record systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements
- Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and perform essential job functions
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Compliance with all statespecific requirements for student nurses in Maryland
