Job Description
Overview
As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit.
Responsibilities
Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial wellbeing of the patient. Notifies R.N. and/or L.V.N. of relevant changes in the patients condition including but not limited to changes in V.S. level of consciousness and/or pain breathing pattern drainage amount of bleeding mood or increase and decrease in capabilities/limitations.
Qualifications
Recent experience in an acute care setting preferred. Completion of 1st semester Nursing School is required. Graduate from high school or its equivalent. Current CA C.N.A certification BLS and MAB.
