JOB Maintenance Engineer
LOCATION StokeOnTrent
TERM Permanent
SALARYdependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Energy sector. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in StokeOnTrenton a permanent basis.
The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
- Experienced working in Food Manufacture ideally
- A confident Electrical and Mechanical skillset
- A solid understanding of commercial electrical and plumbing work
- An Electrical Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualification would also be beneficial
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
- Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
- PPM and breakdown avoidance
- Ensuring documentation is maintained site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met
- Overseeing the maintenance budget and stock control
- Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
- Working with others and being an excellent team player
