About the opportunity
Whether you are an experienced Educator seeking flexibility with your hours or recently qualified and looking to grow your skills and experience we can support you.
We have casual relief opportunities for Diploma or Cert III qualified Educators to provide relief cover in our Childcare services across the Wimmera. Locations include Horsham Warracknabeal Kaniva and Balmoral.
As a relief Educator you will be part of the team providing high quality early childhood education and care to children. Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing strong relationships with children at the service their families and the community.
- Assist with the implementation of a playbased learning environment responsive to childrens interest strengths and abilities.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of programs which reflect the emerging skills and interests of children.
- Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in the services operations.

You have the flexibility to choose your hours and days you work.
In addition to receiving an hourly rate 25 casual loading you can increase your takehome pay by accessing salary packaging benefits for living expenses such as groceries bills clothing streaming services and much more.
You can access a 10 discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.
About you
You will have a either Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or equivalent) and relevant experience in an Early Childhood services role.
You will also have a sound discipline and knowledge including the underlying principles of Early Years gained through experience education and / or training.
