Job Description
Position: QC Inspector Civil Company Overview: Star Services LLC is a leading provider of engineering procurement construction and project management services in the oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a highly experienced QC Inspector Civil to join our team in Taipei Taiwan. Job Description: As a QC Inspector Civil you will be responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities on our onshore/offshore pipeline projects in Taiwan are carried out in accordance with project specifications industry standards and quality control procedures. You will be required to have a minimum of 1012 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in civil construction and quality control. Key Responsibilities: Conduct quality inspections and audits on all civil construction activities including excavation backfilling concrete works and road construction. Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Monitor and report on the progress of civil construction activities highlighting any deviations from the project plan. Identify and document any nonconformances and work with the project team to implement corrective actions. Conduct material inspections and ensure that all materials used meet the required standards. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on quality control matters. Liaise with thirdparty inspectors and client representatives to ensure that all quality requirements are met. Prepare quality control reports and maintain accurate records of all inspections and tests. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control matters. Qualifications: Minimum of 1012 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on civil construction. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in Mandarin (reading writing and speaking) is mandatory. Strong knowledge of industry standards and quality control procedures. Experience in onshore/offshore pipeline projects is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
