Due to the retirement of one of our fantasticteam membersScot Agri is looking for an Agricultural Sales Representative to join our dedicated sales team in Perth. This role involves:
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers
- Generating new business through customer visits phone calls and answering web enquiries
- Using our customer relationship management system to record customer visits potential prospects sales and lost orders
- Representing Scot Agri at demonstrations to buyers
- Effectively handling customer issues and working to find the best solution
- Selling used equipment
- Carrying out used equipment reports both in the field and in the depot
- Responsibility for quotations cost buildups and profitability of deals
- Delivering machine installation and familiarisation training on site
- Reviewing your own sales performance aiming to meet or exceed targets (targets are based on machine volume and extended warranty packages sold)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in the agriculture industry and knowledge of agricultural machinery
- Relevant sales experience (preferred but not essential)
- Proactive and conscientious nature
- Negotiation skills covering price costs delivery and specifications with buyers (or the desire to learn)
- Presentation and demonstration experience
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service
- Good computer skills with Microsoft Office packages and IT systems
