About the role:
As an OpenShift Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both serverside logic and frontend components to create dynamic scalable web applications. You will build and integrate userfacing elements with backend services ensuring seamless functionality across the entire stack. The role requires strong technical skills in both backend and frontend development working with databases APIs and cloud environments. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices in performance security and scalability.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing building and migrating complex solutions based on RedHat OpenShift
- Utilizing appropriate cloudnative tools and services to design build and deploy new applications
- Evaluating cloud application requirements and making architectural recommendations
- Providing best practice guidance on architectural design across multiple applications and projects
Mandatory Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain baseline government or NV1 clearance
- Must be an Australian citizen
- 4 years of OpenShift development and deployment experience
- Proficiency in NodeJS NestJS DB2 MongoDB RedHat and OpenShift
- Expertise in frontend frameworks like Angular
- Handson experience in Agile development environments
Desired Attributes and Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes Docker CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of secure coding practices
- Experience working in government or public sector environments
Whats on offer
This contract is available for an initial 12 month contract with multiple extensions.
Located in Sydney or Melbourne Adelaide Brisbane Canberra. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
