Job Description:
- Assist the PT in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients regain movement and manage pain.
- Provide therapeutic exercises manual therapy gait training and other interventions as directed by the PT.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing care and support for the continuation of therapy at home.
- Monitor and document patients progress adjusting treatments as necessary under the guidance of the PT.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment adhering to clinic protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the PT and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments maintaining patient records and preparing treatment areas.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in physical therapy to provide the best care possible
Qualifications
- Valid and current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles techniques and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
