We are currently recruiting for Rural Generalists / General Practitioners to join a passionate healthcare team.
This recruitment is for a pool of both Permanent and FixedTerm appointments (FullTime PartTime or Sessional). FixedTerm appointments may be extended or transitioned into permanent roles. Successful applicants will be considered for both immediate and future vacancies.

Available Roles:
- District Medical Officer NonProcedural: $462140 to $578587 per year (or $885.90 to $1109.11 per session).
- District Medical Officer Obstetrics Procedural: $528577 to $578587 per year (or $1013.25 to $1109.11 per session).
- District Medical Officer Anaesthetics Procedural: $528577 to $578587 per year (or $1013.25 to $1109.11 per session).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical services including emergency care wardbased care and GP outreach clinics.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including Remote Area Nurses Nurse Practitioners Allied Health staff Aboriginal Health Workers and others.
- Offer clinical leadership supervision and education within a supportive environment.
- Opportunity to engage in patient retrieval and highlevel care through the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
- Focus on continuous professional development and clinical excellence.
About You:
- You are a skilled Rural Generalist or General Practitioner ready to work in a collaborative resourceful and innovative environment.
- You have full registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and possess a relevant medical qualification.
- Experience in emergency medicine and rural settings would be an advantage but we are also eager to hear from those passionate about learning in this unique setting.
