We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our Communications Planning Application (CPA) and MissionOps Software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in objectoriented programming and a commitment to excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct research design and development of application software for desktop and multitier architectures.
- Draft and scrutinize software requirements to guide design within specified time and budget constraints.
- Execute coding perform unit testing and conduct peer reviews to ensure software integrity.
- Address and rectify software defects enhancing quality and fulfilling customer expectations.
- Actively participate in Agile software development process as a dedicated member of an Agile Scrum team.
- Adhere to software development protocols in a disciplined CMMI Level 3 environment with minimal travel requirements (less than 5.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in Software Development.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in C#/.NET programming.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Some experience with full stack development using React or Angular.
- Experience with Bitbucket DOORs Visual Studio Installshield.
- Familiarity with databases.
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins).
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Agile Scrum Master certifications or experience.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York State is $83000 $154000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
