Main purpose of the role:
Simmons Adaptive are currently seeking an IP Consultant to join a client of ours at the end of March/ beginning of April for a period of 912 months. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering highquality legal advice and support across a range of matters.
Responsibilities:
- The role involves general commercial contract and advisory work where IP plays a small part. Therefore IP experience is useful but not essential.
- Advise on transactional IP work with an additional focus on licensing/branding.
- Advise on matters such as franchise partnerships and marketing contracts.
- Engage with the retail business internationally.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor/lawyer with midlevel postqualification experience.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong multitasking skills able to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent time management and ability to manage diverse workload.
- Robust confident approach to legal challenges.
- Ideally available to work fulltime 4 days to be considered) with a requirement to be in the office in London 12 days per week.
