Installation of Building Automation Systems (BAS) equipment and sensors for HVAC Water Quality and Lighting Systems
Perform commissioning and programming of installed BAS equipment
Diagnose and repair/replace BAS equipment failures and malfunctions
Modify BAS programming to maintain proper operation of systems including remote access afterhours response to maintenance/scheduling issues associated with BAS equipment.
Assist in maintenance of Fire Control Systems as needed at Busch Gardens Tampa & Adventure Island
Follow safe work practices
Other duties as required by the Park Services Department
Requirements and Competencies:
Must be at least 18 years or older
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of technical experience (exelectronics video audio IT etc. preferred
Must currently have valid Drivers license and the ability to meet company driving guidelines
Must be able to work to flexible schedule including holidays nights special events coverage as required weekends and overtime when job requires.
One year of Building Controls installation or maintenance experience preferred
Demonstrable knowledge of electronic based controls and programming ability
Knowledge of HVAC equipment operation and low line voltage equipment is preferred
Good attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively
Excellent trouble shooting skills both electrical and mechanical
Position will require standing and walking for extended periods of time; must be able to lift push carry and pull 50 pounds; ability to climb/ascend heights if needed; perform tasks that require frequent bending from waist to floor kneeling squatting simple hand grasping work overhead work and fine manipulation
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying Florida weather to include extreme heat. Position will be exposed to fumes dust odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
