Job Description
The Revenue Data Engineering Teams create the data processing pipelines that measure our customers usage across all Datadog products providing vital insights to a broad variety of users and internal stakeholders. This group of teams is at the leading edge of any new product we release. As a Data Engineer you will work with Spark and big data tooling to build highly reliable verifiablyaccurate data processing pipelines for a largescale missioncritical process. Each day were processing trillions of data points and petabytes of data to enable critical decision making processes for Datadog and our users.

What Youll Do:
- Build sophisticated highvolume data pipelines that power the Revenue Platforms
- Use Spark Flink Luigi Airflow and other opensource technologies
- Work across the stack moving fluidly between programming languages: Scala Java Python and more
- Join a tightly knit team solving hard problems the right way
- Join the Data Engineering community at Datadog and help create and set standards and systems that allow sustainable and organic growth
- Own meaningful parts of our processing infrastructure have an impact grow with the company
Who You Are:
- You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent professional experience
- Experienced in building and operating data pipelines for real customers in production systems
- Fluent in several programming languages (JVM & otherwise)
- Skilled in wrangling huge amounts of data and enjoy exploring new data sets
- Someone who values code simplicity and performance
- Interested in working in a fastpaced high growth environment that respects its engineers and customers
